About

When you head into the Atlantic Ocean for a day of Florida Keys deep sea fishing, you never know what you might catch. Every drop could produce a monster Mutton Snapper or Black Grouper; each weed line could hold a world-record Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) or Wahoo. Not to mention, anywhere out in the deep blue offshore waters, a Marlin of mythical size may be swimming below, ready to slam your bait at any moment.

Greetings, I’m Captain David Perry of the offshore fishing boat Final Final, located at the Hawks Cay Marina on the island of Duck Key. I’ve spent my entire life fishing in the Florida Keys and I am excited about the opportunity to put you on some truly memorable fish! I specialize in heading offshore to pursue large game fish such as Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin and Swordfish.

No matter if you’re a beginner angler who’s never tied a hook before, or an old salt who’s reeled in your share of trophy fish, when you step aboard the Final Final, we will go out of our way to ensure your Florida Keys fishing experience is one you will never forget!

Captain David Perry:

Born and raised in the Florida Keys, I have been fishing since I was a small child. Over the years I have accumulated the local knowledge and the experience to not only find the fish, but to help you get them to the boat.

I have fished in Mexico, the Bahamas, and up and down the East Coast, but my favorite place to fish is still here in the Florida Keys. We have a diverse collection of sought-after game fish found nowhere else in the world, and each time I leave the dock I get excited about what we might catch.

I strongly believe that every trip should create a lasting memory for every angler on board, and I will work hard to catch fish and exceed your expectations.

Adventure Tips

Book Longer Trips for Bigger Fish

Opt for the 6 or 8-hour charters to increase your chances of landing larger pelagic species like Marlin or Swordfish.

Arrive Early and Dress Appropriately

Mornings can be cooler and windier; layering lightweight, UV-protective clothing helps keep you comfortable during the trip.

Bring Sea-Sickness Remedies if Sensitive

While the boat is stable, offshore waters can be choppy. Carry medication if you’re prone to motion sickness.

Remember to Tip Your Captain

A 20% gratuity is customary and rewards the captain for expert guidance and a memorable day on the water.
