Enjoy a walk along the beaches of Figueira da Foz from Coimbra and also discover Montemor Castle and the extensive fields of corn and rice in the Baixo Mondego region.
After pick up in Coimbra, we will go to Figueira da Foz. We will visit Claridade beach, one of the Portuguese's favorite beaches.
After taking a walk along its white sand and taking a few pictures, we'll head to the salt flats. We'll enter the Salt Museum Nucleus to learn everything about salt and see first-hand how it is produced. Before returning to Coimbra, we'll cross the fields of Baixo Mondego, where you'll be surprised by the extensive corn and rice plantations.
Following these roads, we will arrive at Castelo de Montemor for a short visit. Located in a strategic place on a hill, its walls have witnessed numerous fights between Muslims and Christians.
Before finishing, we'll quench our stomachs tasting the typical pastel de Tentúgal, one of the 7 wonders of Portuguese cuisine. This sweet, strictly linked to convent life.
After tasting, we will arrive in Coimbra.
