Located in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, FunFlatables offers a dynamic option for youth groups and schools looking for an active, engaging outing. This indoor inflatable arena is a rare gem in a suburban mall setting, providing a safe and energetic environment where up to 10 children (with options to add more) enjoy three hours of unrestricted bouncing, climbing, and sliding. Unlike typical outdoor excursions centered on natural landmarks, FunFlatables fills an important recreational niche—especially during colder months or rainy days when outdoor options shrink.
The facility is housed near the Chicago Ridge Mall, in a spot once occupied by the Sears store, right across from the Mall’s kid play area. This indoor playground focuses on inflatable arenas that offer a variety of physical challenges suitable for young adventurers. Kids can leap between obstacle courses, vault over giant slides, and dart through colorful tunnels. A dedicated celebration area lets groups gather for meals they bring themselves, reducing stress for organizers. Clean-up is handled by staff, letting supervisors focus on fun, safety, and keeping the energy high.
FunFlatables stands apart through its mission to serve schools, day cares, and youth organizations exclusively on weekdays, providing a controlled environment with strict safety rules and signed liability waivers required for every child. This ensures parents and teachers can feel confident about supervision and sanitation.
While Chicago Ridge itself does not boast prominent geological features, the facility offers a valuable outlet for physical activity in the metropolitan Chicago area. It’s especially relevant as an alternative play spot when outdoor parks or adventures are off-limits. This blend of active movement and group social interaction makes FunFlatables a standout destination for youth groups seeking a memorable, action-packed field trip in the region.
