With options for tailored wildlife presentations, this interactive adventure fosters a deeper appreciation for nature while accommodating multiple classes. This field trip can accommodate up to 2 classes, plus chaperones. Visitors are split into 2 groups that rotate between our Ambassador Tour (30 minute guided tour of on-display Raptor Ambassadors) and Formal Wildlife Presentation (30 minute presentation with 2 Animal Ambassadors). Client may choose between 3 types of presentations. Note: If you will have more than 60 students, email education@chintiminiwildlife.org to check availability.
Please park in the lower main lot at the end of the driveway past the house. Please do not park in the two spaces reserved for wildlife patient drop-offs in the lower lot. If there is no parking available, the spaces up in front of the house may also be used. An Education Staff Member or Volunteer will meet you in the lower lot at the Information Kiosk at the time of your tour.
Please park up in front of the Admin House at the top of the property. We can accommodate 2 regular sized buses or 3 smaller buses. An Education Staff Member will be present exactly 10 minutes prior to the event to help guide buses and then help bring guests into the wildlife center.
Arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled tour helps ensure a smooth start and gives students time to get familiar with the center.
Prepare for outdoor conditions with layers and sturdy shoes, as activities include walking and standing during presentations.
Keep students hydrated and energized by bringing water bottles and light snacks, especially for longer tours.
Follow all instructions from guides to ensure safety and minimal stress for the animal ambassadors during presentations.
