🚤 Departure Details Step aboard for a relaxing 2-hour festive cruise along the historic Bridgewater Canal.

Cruises depart at 12:00pm, so please arrive by 11:30am to allow time for boarding and settling in.

Duration: 2 hours of scenic cruising with stunning winter views.

Departure point: Boothstown Marina, 14 Quayside Close, Boothstown, Worsley, Manchester, M28 1YB.

Our friendly crew will greet you on arrival and guide you to your seats, ensuring everyone is comfortable and ready to enjoy their afternoon tea.

🚗 Parking: We want your journey to be as stress-free as your cruise, so here’s what you need to know about parking:

Free parking is available inside and outside the marina, as well as in nearby streets.

If you’d like a drink or snack before boarding, additional parking is available at The Moorings Pub, just a 3-minute walk away (2 Quayside Close, M28 1YB).

The pub opens from 11:00am.

To park for free, enter your vehicle registration on the tablets located at the bar.

Alternatively, pay-and-display is also available in their car park.

Please ensure your car does not block other vehicles or local properties, as parking is at your own risk.

Onboard Information:

Your comfort is our priority. Here’s what you can expect once you step aboard:

Licensed bar: Choose from a selection of festive drinks to enjoy with your afternoon tea.

Toilet facilities are available onboard.

The boat is fully central heated, ensuring a warm and cosy atmosphere throughout the cruise.

Accessibility: Unfortunately, due to the boat’s design, it is not wheelchair accessible. Boarding requires one step on and four steep steps down, with a banister for support. Please take care when boarding.

🚭 Non-smoking vessel: This includes e-cigarettes.

🍴 Food & Dietary Information:

We pride ourselves on freshly prepared food made in our onboard galley:

Festive Afternoon Tea: Savoury sandwiches, warming winter soup, homemade scones, and a tempting selection of cakes and pastries.

Children’s Afternoon Tea: Finger sandwiches, fruit pots, gingerbread treats, and more.

Please notify us in advance if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

While we follow best practices to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee any food is completely allergen-free, including traces of nuts.

The skipper is in full charge and may vary the route for safety or operational reasons.

The boat leaves promptly at the stated time. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and refunds will not be issued.

Parking at the marina is at the owner’s risk, and Bridgewater Marina is not responsible for any parked vehicles.

💷 Deposits & Cancellations:

Booking and payments are simple and transparent:

A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance is due 7 days before departure, with a friendly reminder sent nearer the time.

Cancellations: Our 72-hour cancellation policy applies. If you cancel within 72 hours of the cruise, unfortunately, the booking is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
