Bluefleet is a coastal tour operator based in Lagos and Faro on Portugal’s Algarve. The company organises a variety of guided sea excursions focused on Ponta da Piedade, the Benagil grotto, and the wider Costa de Lagos and Costa D’Oiro. Bluefleet runs boat tours, catamaran cruises, kayak trips, dolphin-watching outings, private charters and customizable tours tailored to guest interests.
Certified local guides and experienced skippers lead each excursion, providing safety briefings, local history and interpretation of geological formations. The Blue Cruise catamaran is a 3.5-hour experience that includes swimming opportunities and a traditional lunch, operating with a maximum of 45 guests to maintain comfort. Semi-rigid boats are used for Benagil and Costa Carvoeiro trips, enabling access to caves and grottos that larger vessels cannot reach, including the iconic Algar de Benagil.
Kayak tours at Ponta da Piedade give small groups access to hidden sea caves and coastal features only reachable by paddle, while private tours along the Costa de Lagos allow flexible itineraries, swimming stops and focused commentary. Dolphin-watching departures from Lagos Marina focus on cetacean areas with a reported 97% success rate, offering encounters with common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and occasional dwarf whales and sea turtles.
Bluefleet emphasises safety, local knowledge and small-group experiences designed for families, photographers and nature enthusiasts. Booking options include shared departures, private charters and fully personalised tours that reflect guest preferences and seasonal conditions. Guides are certified local professionals who prioritise safety, provide commentary and adapt tours to sea and weather conditions.
