Come and meet the goats of Haleakala Creamery, Maui's family owned and operated goat dairy and ice cream farm.
On our 90 minute “Farm-to-Spoon” tour, you’ll be guided by the owner, Rebecca, and hear how we went from one pet goat 12 years ago to over 50 dairy goats today! A short walk will bring you to the goat pastures where you’ll be able to feed and pet goats, including the goat kids (seasonal). We will share with you how the goats take the sweet grasses of Maui and turn them into delicious caramel sauces, “Goatlato” ice cream and cheese. You’ll also learn how we milk our goats, and have an opportunity to milk a goat yourself! After meeting the goats, we’ll take you through our Creamery kitchen and share how we make all of our delicious products, including fresh cheeses and caramel sauces. Our tour offers an informative glimpse into the daily workings of a micro goat dairy on Maui, filled with friendly goats, tasty products and scenic views of Haleakala and Maui.
Tours are offered Friday’s at 9:30 am, and kept to a maximum of 12 guests to ensure a personalized, hands-on experience. Each adult tour ticket includes a cheese tasting plate.
