Duration 1 night, 2 people

About

The Huacaya Alpaca & Baby doll sheep at Haute Goat Farm invite you to become one with the herd in this unique sleepover experience.

Join us in a completely weatherized Bunkie right inside the paddock, Shaun the sheep knocking at the door, and the peaceful humming of the Alpacas as you drift off to sleep. The perfect escape to leave your fast-paced life behind, unplug from your normal routine and immerse yourself in the beautiful Northumberland County. Beautiful farm style breakfast for two is always included!

Alpacas are known to be shy, curious, sensitive, and of course super cute. With a calm nature and a bit of trust you can easily win them over to feel their luxurious fiber. Know who isn’t shy? The Babydoll Sheep! Shaun and his friends will come over for some face rubs, hugs, and selfies. Be careful or you may have some extra guests in your Bunkie!

Check in happens after 3PM- but we welcome you to come early and spend the day exploring the 200-acre farm. Walk the trails, book an animal experience, play a round of Disc golf, or grab a spot in The Screaming Goat café (Open Wednesday-Sunday) for a farm to table lunch. We do ask if you’re checking in past 4PM to let us know ahead of time!

The on-site Screaming Goat Café is open Wednesday-Sunday 10AM-4PM, but we’d love to suggest some excellent restaurants in town, or you’re welcome to bring your own dinner. Washrooms, fridge, and microwave are located just 200 yards away from the Bunkie.

The Bunkie includes a cozy Queen-sized bed, and a small seating area, but we know you’ll want to spend majority of the time interacting! Take a seat at the outdoor propane fire pit, grab a drink, and enjoy the peace and quiet of a country evening.

Stargaze, witness the sun setting over the horse paddock, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature before heading in for the night. Our Livestock Guardian Dogs keep the farm safe from coyotes howling off in the distance.

Before heading in for breakfast at 9:00AM, we invite you to meet us for our 8AM barn chores! Don’t worry just the fun ones! Help us feed the goats, learn a bit about their routines, and enjoy a true behind the scenes look at the goat barn. Please note chores just include our wonderful goats- they're well worth the early wake up call!

*Please note that Alpaca behavior can be disappointing for young children, we don’t suggest this experience for children under 8 years old. The Yomes, or Farmhouse Suite are great for kids!
