Farm & Milk Experience at Hillhead of Covington

A chance to meet the Cows of Covington and experience life on the farm at milking time and calf feeding time. A real and unique chance to meet members of the Baillie family and the Cows of Covington.

Highlights

• You will get the chance to see the cows in their natural environment and hear how we care for our happy healthy cows that produce the Cows of Covington farm fresh milk.
• As they go into the milking parlour you will see them getting milked and have the chance to milk a cow for yourself.
• You will learn the process of milk production from cow to bottle.
• Then you will meet the young calves with a chance to feed the calves with milk.

These calves are extra friendly and this is always the highlight for our young visitors!

Important to Know

Please wear appropriate footwear that can be washed and disinfected. Wellies are best. If you do want to take part in milking the cows then you will get dirty so please wear suitable clothing. Height restrictions may apply within the milking parlour. No wheelchair or buggy access to the milking parlour.
