WHAT THE EXPERIENCE WILL BE LIKE... ROSE Therapeutic Farm Summer Camps are an exciting way to light up any young person’s summer. Our camps provide unique, hands-on opportunities for learning, growth, and fun. Campers spend their time here immersed in the natural world, with animals and the environment. Each camp is loaded with creative, enriching activities meant to help your kiddos connect with nature and learn how to enjoy ""the simple life"".

Our camps are geared toward children ages 5-13 Campers will be divided into groups that are age appropriate, however siblings and friends can remain together.

We have so many new animals for the kids to meet! 🫏 Oliver the mini Donkey 🐮 Maple the Highland Cow 🐴 Ranger the mini pony 🦆 Herman the adorable Ducky 🐏 Perry the precious sheep And all the other friendly farm animals!

Morning Activities

Each day will bring something a little bit different, just like life on a ranch. But each day will start with tending to the animals.

  • Preparing and feeding all of the animals their morning meal of hay, grain, seed and veggies!
  • Collecting all of the egg the chickens laid the night before.
  • Checking to make sure everyone has fresh water and clean bedding.
  • Grooming and snuggles

Special Educational Animal Activity

Each day we will spend time with a different farm animal learning about what their purposes are a farm, what they need to grow and thrive and we take care of them.

  • Goats, Goats, Goats! Learning about goat digestive system, trimming Goat Hooves, Walking with Goats on the property as they forage to see what they like to eat firsthand.
  • Chickens - Which came first the Egg or the Hen? Learn all about chickens: their language, the rooster's chivalry, eggs laying and baby chick growth!
  • Cows come in all sizes and shapes! From our micro mini Herford to our 1500 lbs Brangus Daryll! Learn about cow breeds, purposes and their impact on regenerative farming.
  • Learning about Goat Hoof Care - Live Demo of how we trim goats hoovers :)

Educational Activity, Game or Craft

Each day we will explore different aspects of farm living and animal husbandry through an educational, game, craft or activity. These are examples of some of the things we will be doing :)

  • Building Bird Houses out of recycled items
  • Making toys for the chickens to play with.
  • Beautifying the Horse & Goat Pins.
  • Making homemade treats for the goats, chickens, rabbits and horses!
  • Helping paint the goat playground and other buildings!
  • Take a look at the crafts we have planned trough out the summer!!!
