Four one hour classes over four weeks
Join us as we launch our first farm educational experience for the big kids! Your BIG Little Farmer (aged 6-10) and one parent will be given an opportunity to explore the farm each week through a specific perspective: life skills, the arts, academics, or mindset. One week, we will focus on Farm to Table cooking; another week we will focus on poetry; another week will focus on planting and the plant sciences; and the final week will focus on the daily life of a farmer: his mindset, daily tasks, and work ethic. Each week will provide tangible experiences for our young learners that they can then practice in provided follow-up activities.
Each child attending must be registered. Each registration includes one adult and one child admission to the DBY and Animal Farm for that day. Go BIG!
Note: This will be a parent involved interactive class with farm themed topics and activities each week. Each session will be one hour. The session will be 4 weeks long. Admission to the Discovery Barnyard and Animal Farm for the parent and child participating in the class is included in the price for the day of the class only. Additional Family Members will be charged normal admission prices. We encourage you to stay and play after the class is over. This is a parent/guardian involved class and children cannot participate without an adult/guardian present. Space is limited so sign up today. Discounts will be given to Season Pass members.
