Located on a hilltop in Hampshire, Prince Edward Island, Island Hill Farm is a scenic 15-minute drive from Charlottetown. You will be enchanted by the panoramic view and the diverse attractions of our farm. At Island Hill Farm, we provide you with an educational experience about our whole farming operation. We believe that it is essential for people to know the origin of their food, the ethical and sustainable practices we follow, and the personalities of our animals! We have always been a farm and we enjoy inviting people from different parts of the world to our story, animals, and home.
You will have a wonderful time learning about and interacting with various animals, browsing the gift shop, and sampling and buying different food items at the café and farm market! You will soon discover why our visitors have bestowed us with the honor of using #cutestplaceonearth.
You will have the opportunity to have a hands on visit with all of our animals. There are goats of all sizes, baby goats, sheep, alpacas, Gavin the donkey, miniature horses, mini rex rabbits(5 lbs), flemish giant rabbits (20+ lbs) and our fold of Highland Coos. Both you and your friends will get to interact and touch these amazing farm animals, and learn about what their jobs are at the farm. An Island Hill Farm staff member will be on hand and can guide you on an educational tour, as each animal has a important role on our farm.
Island Hill Farm operates rain or shine. Please dress appropriately and wear proper farm footwear. Flip-flops are not recommended.
