Experience a delightful day at Upper Dysart Larder's Hay & Play! Enjoy a vibrant play park filled with climbing frames, slides, and sensory toys, while meeting friendly farm animals like Highland cows and miniature donkeys. With tasty snacks and a cozy seating area, every moment promises fun and discovery for the whole family!

Booking: Online bookings accepted up until 9am on the day of booking. After this time you are welcome to turn up and pay on arrival.

In our Hay & Play area, you’ll find swings 🏞️, climbing frames 🧗, a trampoline 🌾, and much more! As you play, you can also watch our animals enjoying the outdoors and say hello to them up close 🐴🐐.
⚠️ Please follow all signage and ensure children are supervised at all times. 👢🧥 Wellies and outdoor clothing are recommended—especially with Scotland’s unpredictable weather! 🌧️
There's plenty of fun to be had at the play park! Grab a bite of our tasty hot food or pick up a treat from the shop to enjoy at the picnic benches. Don't forget to browse our selection of gifts and say hello to our friendly animals, including alpacas, goats, Highland cows, miniature donkeys, miniature Shetland ponies, sheep, and pigs!

No entry into animal enclosures unless supervised by a member os staff. 🐑🐴 Animal Interaction: Do not pet, feed, or approach animals without staff permission. Only feed animals with farm-approved food and using feeding tubes. ⚠️ Hazards: Avoid touching fences ⚡ (some are electrified or barbed-wire). Do not allow children to chase or disturb animals. 🩺 Health Risks: Pregnant women 🤰, young children (under 5) 👶, the elderly 👵, and immunocompromised individuals should take extra precautions around animals. 🧼 Hygiene & Hand washing: Always wash hands 🖐️💦 before and after animal contact, especially before eating 🍽️. Hand washing must be supervised for children. 🍔🚫 Food & Drink: Only consume food in designated areas before entering Hay & Play. Avoid eating food that has fallen on the ground. 💩 Farm Hygiene: Animal manure carries infection risks—children should avoid contact. Ensure footwear 👢 is clean before leaving. 🗑️ Litter & Cleanliness: Dispose of waste properly and use hand washing stations, located at the entrance to Hay & Play. ✅ Follow these guidelines to ensure a fun and safe visit for everyone! 😊
