The river widens and narrows like an old road, inviting a line of rafts to laugh and splash through gentle, rolling rapids. Families push off from the gravel shore, guides call commands, and the current teases the bow forward — energetic but forgiving. This level 1 run is about shared moments: kids steering with careful encouragement, parents exchanging grins as swirling eddies tug playfully at the raft.

No experience is required — this is a Level 1 family-focused trip with guides giving full instruction and safety equipment.
Guiding, wetsuit, wet shoes, helmet, life jacket, transport to/from the river, and usually coffee or a hot drink after the run.
Guides monitor water levels daily — low water can mean a gentler ‘super raft’ option, while very high or unsafe conditions may delay or cancel trips per operator policy.
