A cold wind pushes through black spruce as you step onto a sun-flecked ridge, sled runners humming beneath your boots. For 90 minutes you become part of a working team — standing on tandem sled runners, feeling the dogs shift and respond, or settling into the sled while the musher guides the team through birch and alder corridors.

The mushing portion is a roughly 1/2 mile loop, delivered as part of a 90-minute session that includes kennel time and instruction.
