Wear water shoes

Sturdy, grippy water shoes will keep your footing steady on slippery rocks throughout the canyon.

Use sunscreen even if cloudy

UV reflects off water and rock surfaces, so protect your skin during exposed canyon sections.

Bring a change of clothes

After the descent, you’ll want dry clothes to stay comfortable for the journey home or into town.
