About the 20 & 24"" Geared Mountain
- For the 7-10 year old who is off training wheels and ready to ride along with the family, but not quite ready for the adult bike.
- These bikes, from Trek and Specialized, have 8 speeds and are hand brake only.
- If your child is ready for this size bike, but not ready for hand brakes, we suggest renting a Piccolo Trailer Cycle instead.
About the 12"", 16"", & 20"" Single Speed
- For the 2-8 year old who wants their own bike but isn’t ready for gears and hand brakes.
- Great for short rides and around the driveway.
- 12” and 16” models come with training wheels that can be removed at no charge.
- 20” models do not come with training wheels but can be added at no charge when requested in advance.
