The Pyrenees have a long history of mountaineering and outdoor recreation, with many trails and parks established since the early 20th century.
Pirineus Parc Aventura supports local conservation by minimizing habitat disturbance and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Pirineus Parc Aventura is an outdoor adventure park located in La Guingueta d'Àneu, Catalonia, inside the Pallars Sobirà region of the Catalan Pyrenees. The park operates a unique eco-sustainable vertical forest with six tree-top circuits and more than 90 activities including zip lines and Tarzan jumps. Pirineus Parc Aventura offers family packages, group experiences, and water-based outings such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and big SUP on Lago de la Torrassa. Many experiences combine tree-top circuits with kayaking, rafting, or canyoning for full-day adventures. Several itineraries explicitly welcome pets, and options are tailored by ability and age so participants from children to adults can find suitable routes. Safety is managed through guided briefings and expert supervision for activities such as canyon descents and rafting. The park lists multiple product formats including one-circuit and two-circuit choices, family packages for two to four members, group adventures, and multi-day stays. Daily operations focus on outdoor recreation, nature connectivity, and sustainable use of the forested site. Visitors travel to La Guingueta d'Àneu to access the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the Noguera Pallaresa River for rafting sections. Pirineus Parc Aventura emphasizes clear activity descriptions and combinations — tree-top circuits, kayak and SUP rentals, big SUP group boards, and canyoning — so guests can plan by skill level and duration. Visitors should review equipment lists and arrival instructions provided at booking to ensure a smooth, prepared experience for their group.
