Join us for the Bloom Half Term Special, a unique 2-hour drop-in session designed for children with SEND needs and their siblings. Enjoy exclusive access to the Minehead Eye centre, featuring a skatepark, climbing cave, sensory area, and arts and crafts. A perfect family-friendly experience awaits!
2 hour drop in session. We know your child may not feel comfortable staying for the whole session, so please feel free to arrive and leave when you wish.
As part of the Community Inclusion and Activity programme, this session is aimed at children with SEND needs or that have a EHCP, and their siblings. You will need to answer a few questions when booking to ensure this session is suitable for your child.
This session offers exclusive access to the whole Minehead Eye centre including; skatepark, cafe, climbing cave and music rooms. There will also be a Sensory themed area along with an arts and crafts area. The Skatepark will be open with scooters, skateboards, roller skates and all equipment included. The cafe will be open throughout the session.
This session is for all the family, and all children attending this session will need to be supervised by a parent or guardian. Spaces only need to be booked for children.
Getting there at the start of the session ensures the best access to all the facilities without crowds.
Carrying items like noise-canceling headphones can help children with sensory sensitivities enjoy the space more comfortably.
Clothing that allows movement will make climbing, arts, and activities more enjoyable.
