Fall Meet, Greet & Eat — Carrie’s Bus Tours Event at Morelands @ Waterworks (Oct 4, 2026)

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, Carrie’s Bus Tours opens its doors at Morelands @ Waterworks, 1817 S Broad St Ext., Greensburg, PA 15601, for a lively Fall Meet, Greet & Eat. The event runs 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (do not arrive before 1:15 p.m.) and combines casual travel talk with food, prizes, and a chance to meet other travelers. For $25 and limited to 90 attendees (RSVP by 9/11/2026), the afternoon is designed for conversation—light hors d’oeuvres start at 1:30, lunch at 2:00, and door prizes will be awarded throughout. Inside Morelands’ event room you’ll find rows of flyers covering scheduled trips from 2026 through 2028 and a few newly announced 2027 departures. The program is a practical mix: Carrie will walk through her remaining 2026 trips and upcoming 2027-2028 ideas, while Della of Destiny Travel joins to discuss cruises and international departures, including Ireland (April 25–May 3, 2027) and an Alaska cruise (August 17–28, 2027) with Princess Cruise Lines. Expect frank Q&A, registration pointers, and the kind of on-the-ground detail that turns a vague bucket list into a booked trip. This event sits in Greensburg’s community corridor, a short drive from regional parks and the Laurel Highlands gateway. Though not a wilderness outing, the gathering taps into the local outdoor community: attendees often form small groups afterward to plan hikes, multi-day bus tours, and cruise shore excursions. The physical setting—a restaurant banquet space with a parking lot reserved for event rentals—keeps things accessible; organizers ask most guests to park in the large lot across the road unless mobility issues dictate otherwise. Practical advantages: limited attendance makes it easy to meet guides and solo travelers, the open bar is available for purchase, and printed flyers let you study itineraries away from your screen. Bring a list of questions, any mobility needs, and a light jacket—Greensburg afternoons in October can shift cool by late afternoon. To RSVP, visit carriesbustours.com and use the blue “BOOK NOW” button, or click the Meet & Greet logo on the All 2026 Tours page. For questions call 724-640-8828 or email [email protected]. Whether you’re scouting a first group trip or fine-tuning a multi-week plan, this is a practical, social entry point into the region’s travel scene. Expect opportunities to connect with fellow solo travelers if you're traveling alone; organizers will introduce people with similar interests and travel timelines. Door prizes and light games break the ice, and the printed itineraries make on-the-spot planning simple. If you’re considering a cruise, bring passport questions; Della can advise on documentation and booking windows. The event’s small scale means you can get one-on-one time with trip leaders, ask about accessibility, luggage limits, and on-tour pacing, then leave with next steps.
