Join Larus Isfeld, Captain, Casco Bay expert and co-founder of North Atlantic adventures for an unforgettable day at sea.

Head to sea in the early morning hours, when the water is flat, for a stunning tour of the Portland area coastline at peak fall. Explore the islands of Casco Bay dressed in their fall colors. You’ll make a short stop at an Oyster Farm, sampling the bivalves straight from the ocean. We will pass by the lighthouses and forts marking the entrance to the Portland harbor. Cruising past Peaks, Diamond, Long Island and Chebeague in search of the perfect fall colors.

Location: Portland, ME You will find Larus at The Portland Public Dock, 70 Commercial Street, Portland Maine; next to The Flatbread Company on 72 Commercial Street. Walk down the ramp next to the entrance to the Pizza Place. The name of the boat is the Draco and Larus is hard to miss. Just look for the viking.

Menu: Lobster Shack menu (non-seafood options available) Wine, beer, soda or water provided by Larus Does not include cost of lunch; guests to bring cash so they can order at will.

Who can make a reservation?

Transportation. not included Guests must drive themselves: 40 minute drive

  • If weather conditions are not optimal, Larus will suggest an alternate time, or cancel with no charges applied if there is no suitable alternative for guests.
  • Guests are advised to use the public restrooms prior to departure at the Ferry Terminal on the next pier over.

Please advise guests dress in coats and hats, as water will be chilly this time of year, especially in the morning. Boat tours only run if the weather and water are relatively calm. If conditions are not optimal, Larus will suggest an alternate time, or cancel with no charges applied if there is no suitable alternative for guests.
