Know Before You Go

Each Bio Bay tour is guided by a certified interpretive Marine Biologist trained in First Aid & CPR
Skill Level: For Everyone (kids 6 years and up)
This is a 2-person kayak tour. Maximum weight limit per person is 200 pounds.
You will get very wet, we recommend bringing extra clothes and towel for after the tour
All guests must be able to row their kayaks by themselves. One of the requirements is that you are able to get in and out of the kayak on your own and be able to maneuver it. If you are an unexperienced kayaker we highly suggest you choose the earlier tour.

Adventure Tips

Wear lightweight, quick-dry clothing

Opt for garments that dry quickly and won't weigh you down in case of splashes.

Bring a waterproof flashlight

A flashlight covered with red cellophane helps you see without disturbing the bioluminescence.

Use biodegradable insect repellent

Protect yourself from mosquitoes without harming the sensitive mangrove ecosystem.

Avoid touching or disturbing the water excessively

Minimize splashing to preserve the bioluminescent effect and respect marine life.
