Embark on an unforgettable ocean adventure at Maunalua Bay, with Hawaii Kai’s only Whale Watching Cruise! This excursion provides you with a unique and up-close view to witness the annual return of Alaska’s humpback whales as they give birth in the warm tropical waters off Oahu’s coast from December through April. Marvel at these majestic animals with an intimate and uncrowded exploration in the Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary on the East Coast of Waikiki, where you will experience breathtaking views of Diamond Head and Koko Head.

During this cruise, you will be scouting for marine life assisting captain and crew, while learning all about the behaviors, life cycles and habitats of these enchanting animals and other marine life in addition to Oahu’s spectacular sites! This relaxing experience starts from the Waikiki Dive Center premier dive shop located in the heart of Waikiki, on 424 Nahua Street. From there, you will board a modern, air-conditioned bus that will transport you and your companions to Hawaii Kai, where you'll step onto our U.S. Coastguard Inspected vessel.
