About

  • In this Tour, we want to combine a love of history and monuments, with the pleasure of living and watch the sea, through the beautiful and unspoiled fishing village of Ericeira.
  • Our route starts towards Mafra where you can visit the biggest Palace of Portugal, also built in the eighteenth century by our megalomaniac King João V! This building, in addition to the palace function, was also a monastery and still had an imposing basilica. To get an idea of the magnitude of this construction, we can say that the palace has a facade of 220 meters and has more than 600 rooms and 5200 doors and windows! Its support a park with about 20 km perimeter (Tapada de Mafra).
  • Mafra follows to Sobreiro, to admire an authentic village of play has a major attraction thumbnail of rural scenes with animated dolls, powered by electricity or water. There are also reproductions of houses and their interiors of the early twentieth century. Finally, we go to Ericeira.
