Description

An experience in the middle of the Jungle that you will not forget. Visit to the Ruins of Yaxchilán, a boat ride on the impressive Usumacinta River and visit to Bonampak, admiring all the past of the Mayans. What are you waiting for? Live this experience. Visit the Ruins of Yaxchilán immersed in the exuberant vegetation of the jungle, a boat ride on the impressive Usumacinta River and later visit Bonampak, where you can appreciate the painted murals and be in direct contact with the direct descendants of the Mayans!

We will spend the night in an Ecolodge in the community of Lacanja Chansayab (Lacandones Lodge), where you will be able to live with a Mayan Lacandon family, you will learn about their experiences and customs and the next day we will make an interpretive trail in the middle of the Jungle, visiting waterfalls and the lost city of Lacanjá.

Recommendations

  • We suggest you bring comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat and sunglasses, sunscreen, extra money in case you want to buy a souvenir or crafts from the region and for additional meals.
  • Not suitable for disabled people.
  • Moderate physical condition is suggested. The transfer to Yaxchilán by boat lasts 60 minutes. The buffet breakfast is served en route.
