Participants should be in moderate physical condition, able to hike on uneven and icy terrain, and comfortable with outdoor walking up to several hours a day.
A moderate fitness level is recommended since the itinerary includes hiking on uneven terrain and walking inside ice caves, but no technical climbing skills are needed.
Bring waterproof and layered clothing, sturdy hiking boots, insulated gloves, and a hat. Crampons and helmets for glacier travel are provided by guides.
The trip is best suited for older children who can handle moderate hiking and cold conditions. Younger children may find some terrain challenging.
