Embark on a challenging four-mile hike with historian Mark Stevens to the Shaker’s secluded sugar camp, where the magic of spring sap collection unfolds. Limited to just 14 guests, this unique experience promises breathtaking scenery and a glimpse into the sweet traditions of syrup and candy making.

Join Mark Stevens, historian and guide, for this four-mile round-trip tour to the Shaker’s remote sugar camp, where, each spring, sap was collected and turned into syrup and sugar candy. This event is being offered on March 18 and April from 1- 4pm. Each tour is limited to 14 guests.

This is a strenuous four-mile backcountry hike with uphill portions. Sections of the trail may be covered in snow, ice, and/or mud. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
