About This Adventure

Experience the charm of Amish country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, over four unforgettable days. Engage with the local culture through farm visits, school tours, and a home-cooked dinner with an Amish family. Enjoy a spectacular show at the Sight and Sound Theatre and indulge in the largest smorgasbord in the U.S.

Join us for four wonderful days as we journey to the beautiful rolling farmland of Amish country in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania! During these wholesome days we will step into the world of these unique people and their charming and simple way of life. We will visit a working Amish farm, go to an Amish school, have dinner in the home of an Amish family, go to an Amish play, and so much more. On this trip we will also see a show at the world-class Sight and Sound Theatre, and enjoy a dinner at the largest smorgasbord in the United States. You will love this unforgettable experience in the heartland of America!

Wednesday, May 28

9:00am – Depart Crowne Plaza

4:30pm – arrive at hotel (Courtyard by Marriott in Lancaster, PA)

5:30pm – 8:30pm – Shady Maple Smorgasbord & Gift Shop

9:00pm – return to hotel

Thursday, May 29

9:00am – depart from hotel

9:30am – 10:45am – Mennonite Life

10:45am – 12:45pm - Tour of the countryside with Mennonite guide

1:00pm – 1:45pm – Bird in Hand Farmers Market

2:00pm – 4:45pm – Kitchen Kettle Village

5:00pm – 6:30pm – Casey Jones’ Restaurant

6:45pm – 9:45pm – “The Rise and Fall of Miss Fannie’s Biscuits” at Bird-in-Hand Stage
