About

TOUR OF WHITE POCKET One Very cool location within the Vermilion Cliffs. Ride in comfort in our SUV to White Pocket. Once we arrive on-site we are there for a maximum of 3 hours. Time spent will be on exploration and photography.

Moderate hiking is involved, we have been averaging 3 miles. Complimentary water and sandwich are available but we do encourage you to pack your own bag with water and items you may need while we’re on tour - our guide cannot carry everything.

For this tour we are only going to one location, that is White Pocket, we will not be visiting any other locations within the Vermilion Cliffs. This tour does not include Antelope Canyon. This tour does not include The Wave

  • Adults 13yrs+ $225.00 + fees
  • Children 4-12yrs $195.00 + fees the total can be seen in the checkout process

We do require 2 or more persons in order for the tour to take place. A discount can be applied if you also have a booking on our Sightseer's Tour to Antelope Canyon.

There is a customer-to-guide ratio of 5:1, if you need to book more than 5 seats email or call us so we can do this for you, our max is 10 persons per tour.

due to the terrain and the travel time (children tend to get bored) we don't recommend this tour for younger children - suggested age for children 7yrs and older. But, only a suggestion - regardless of age, all children must pay, even babies.

If you are one person you are more than welcome to buy 2 tickets, in the event that more people sign up we can credit you back 1 ticket.

Suggestions on what to bring

  • Hiking Sticks (not really needed, but bring if you'd like)
  • Backpack
  • Good shoes (no sandals)
  • Sunscreen
  • 1-liter or more of water, per person
  • Snacks for the hike

Duration

8 hours Drive Time: 2.5hrs there and 2.5hrs back, with 3 hours on site. We will Hike for 2.5hrs, cover up to 3 miles and have a 30 minute lunch break at the vehicle, after we've concluded our hike. We encourage you to pack your own water & snacks while we are hiking around.

Due to the remote location, there are no bathrooms at White Pocket. We will encounter a bathroom 1-hour into the drive, afterward, there is a 6-hour block of no bathrooms - the only option is to "bush" it.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

Health and well-being of every one: If you or someone in your group has flu-like symptoms, or signs of C-19 Click Here symptoms, let us know, the sooner we know the better chance you might get a refund. By not telling us in advance we will consider it as a no-show with no Refund; notify us by email. Finally, those showing symptoms of C-19 and have a temp of 100.4 degrees F or greater will not be allowed on tour and there will be no refund.

A full refund* is available if the cancellation occurs 7+ days PRIOR to the visitation date. Contact us by email or phone to cancel your booking. Customers will also receive a full refund* in the event of "the operator" canceling tours due to extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Any cancelations 5-6 days prior will have a 25% restocking fee, 3-4 days prior there will be a 50%restocking fee; 0-3 days there are no refunds.

If you miss your tour there are NO Refunds. In addition, showing up at our office, at the time of check-in and notifying us someone in your party did not make it, with no prior acknowledgment, will result in no refund. Payments cannot be transferred to another date. Be sure to arrive early or even extra early - our address works on all GPS devices. A reduction of passengers in your booking will not be a full refund: we will refund the tour cost but the booking fees are non-refundable (varies 2.20-8.33%). Only a complete cancellation yields a full refund*.

We are not liable for mistakes made with online bookings (e.g. wrong date, there is no need to type your credit card details to us if you cancel if anything you could provide the last 4 numbers if you wish but Not all the numbers.

*Full refunds are only available if we are refunding the same card used for booking (if your card is compromised and you've been given a new card - the refund will still get to you). If you used a prepaid card that you no longer have or if you want to be refunded to a different card e.g. from Visa to Amex - the conditions for refund are different - we would only be able to refund 80% of the charge. all refunds take up to 45 days.

Adventure Tips

Bring plenty of water

Carry at least 1 liter of water per person to stay hydrated during the desert hike.

Wear sturdy shoes

Good hiking shoes are needed for walking over rocky, uneven terrain—avoid sandals.

Apply sunscreen

Sun exposure is intense in the high desert, so sunscreen is necessary even on cloudy days.

Prepare for no restrooms

Restroom facilities are absent for long stretches; plan accordingly for bathroom needs before departure.
