Our longest trip. Paddle the upper Jackson River in Alleghany County. This section normally features crystal clear water, great current, and excellent mountain views. The many class I & II rapids make this section fun and exciting yet is easily paddled by beginners. This trip launches at the National Forest Smith Bridge shore line river access point and ends back at our take out at Intervale Park ramp. This trip typically starts at 9AM and 1pm daily. Trip starts at 9AM daily. Available for groups of 4 or more.

Minimum Group Size

Due to length of shuttles this trip has a minimum group size of 4 customers.

MINIMUM AGE For insurance and safety reasons minimum age for any river trip is 6 years old. No underage exceptions. Small kids must be in boats with their parents or guardians.
