About

Our Turks and Caicos snorkeling cruise will take you beach cruising along Grace Bay, snorkeling the Barrier Reef and finally stopping at gorgeous Half Moon Bay, where you get to come face-to-face with the Rock Iguanas!

Your first snorkeling stop will be the Turks and Caicos barrier reef, which is the 3rd largest in the world and over 125 miles in distance. The natural barrier guards the north shore of Providenciales and preserves its beautiful, white sand beach. It’s also the reason why the water is so clear and blue. On a clear, sunny day you can see up to 100 feet underwater! Sixty different types of coral are said to reside here. The barrier reef is also a fantastic spot to catch a glimpse of whales, dolphins, stingrays, turtles, and many incredible species of tropical fish.

You will then cruise along the Caicos Bank, which has the shallow, turquoise-tinted waters off the shores of Providenciales and Caicos. The waters house tidal flats and swamps, which are an ideal habitat for Conch, a staple here in the Turks and Caicos! This reef system abruptly drops off into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean, which is commonly referred to as the “Wall.” The Caicos Banks make up some 1700 square miles with much of the area being under 20 feet (6 meters).

Your last stop will be at Half Moon Bay, which is a picturesque beach located between the islands of Little Water Cay and Water Cay. It is a three quarter mile (1200 meter) beach, which started as a sand bar and slowly grew over many years. It is easily one of the most popular attractions in Turks and Caicos for island hopping, boat cruises, day trips, BBQ’s and kayak trips. It is also home to the Turks and Caicos Rock Iguana, which thrive in the dune and bush environment.

This is a wonderful excursion! Caicos Dream Tours' Turks and Caicos Snorkel Cruise will leave you breathless! Enjoy it!
