Wondering why Tromsø is nicknamed “The Gateway to the Arctic”? Join us on our city tour to find out! Travel through time starting at the end of the ice-age, jumping into the 1800’s, and ending with contemporary life in Tromsø.

Tour Summary:

Meet your host in our cosy shop in the city centre. Before starting your tour, your local guide will learn about your interests and needs. Learn about our fascinating history and culture and see iconic monuments and places such as the Arctic Cathedral, harbour, and Storgata. Your guide will make the experience come alive with stories, local tips, and photo stops along the way.

What's included: Depending on your desired duration, the tour includes:

  • 1-hour tour: city walk
  • 2-hour tour: city walk + Polar Museum
  • 3-hour tour: city walk + Polar Museum + Lunch
