Description

Our adventure begins by starting in cayuco or canoe to the cave paintings, accompanied by our Maya Lacandon guide and crossing the entire lagoon; You will have the opportunity to admire these paintings that allude to Mayan characters and animals where we can explore caves around these paintings, which still keep great treasures protected by the community. (1.0 hour) After this stop we go to the Mirador, where we can appreciate the vegetation in its total splendor surrounded by an incomparable natural beauty. We will make a path in the middle of the jungle climbing the mountain (around 580 meters) to reach the final point and be able to observe the entire lagoon. From the top of the cliffs you can see the spectacular lakes of Metzabok (in total add up to 21), the majority intercommunication temporarily or permanently with each other forming a system of karst wetlands (limestone formation) surrounded by high forest.
