Join a small, friendly group for an unforgettable paddleboarding experience on the serene, non-tidal River Thames. With expert guidance, you'll learn to control your board while exploring beautiful islands and local wildlife. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere focused on fun and skill-building, making new friends along the way!
Small and friendly group size, with a minimum of three and a maximum of eight, plus an experienced, qualified, local instructor.
We start with an overview of the equipment and cover the basic concepts and a safety briefing whilst on dry land.
We then head out on to a beautiful stretch of the River Thames from our private pontoon. The river here is non-tidal which makes it less challenging and gives you the opportunity to focus on learning and having fun. It is also pretty quiet so you won't be performing for an audience!
You'll learn how to control your board whilst kneeling, before progressing to the standing position when you are ready - the exciting bit!
There is no pressure and the aim is to help you enjoy the learning process rather than ticking off a 'must do' list.
We will also get the chance to explore the river and enjoy some islands, bridges and local wildlife.
Learn and explore at the same time, as we paddle along a lovely stretch of the non-tidal River Thames taking in islands, bridges and wildlife.
