About UN Geneva Visitors' Service
UN Geneva Visitors' Service organizes and conducts guided visits to the Palais des Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations in Genève. The service provides structured tours designed to inform visitors about the UN’s mission, the history and architecture of the Palais des Nations, and the multilateral work that takes place within the complex.
Tours are offered in several formats to accommodate different needs: private tours for small groups (up to nine persons), group tours for organized parties (minimum 15, maximum 40 per time slot), and scheduled guided tours for individual visitors. Each format includes access to significant rooms, displays of gifts from member states, and explanations of current diplomatic and humanitarian work where operational constraints allow.
The Visitors' Service coordinates visits in a functioning international institution and follows on-site security and access procedures. Information provided during tours is factual and oriented to public education about the United Nations’ activities. The service is a recognized point of access for the public to experience the Palais des Nations and learn about international diplomacy and cooperation directly on site.
