Our guides let you know what's coming up, and share their knowledge and history of the area as you soak in the surroundings of extremely popular section of trail, which takes your through wetland to Arapuni Village.
The Waikato River Trails offer great views and spectacular flora and fauna only found in New Zealand.
Boasting more than 100km of Grade 2 and 3 riding (easy to intermediate), there is a trail for everyone- and we can take you on guided tour along the stunning Karāpiro section.
Starting at Arapuni Dam (best for beginners) or Jones Landing (for more intermediate riders), our guides will let you know what's coming up, and share their local knowledge and history of the area.
Meet at Riverside Adventures base on Horahora Road and hop on board a shuttle. You can use your own bike or hire one of ours - we have mountain bikes and e-bikes.
Helmets are provided and required for safety on all trail sections.
The wetlands can have mosquitoes, so plan for protection especially in warmer months.
