The Hobbiton Movie Set Tour is where Peter Jackson filmed his famous Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies.
The Hobbiton Movie Set is one of the most visited destinations in New Zealand for the past 10 years.
Tour starts by picking you up from Auckland CBD, then you’ll enjoy a two-hour scenic drive South of Auckland into Waikato, with a scenic stop for amazing photos and any other stops if needed.
Once we arrive, you spend 30-45 mins shopping in the official Hobbiton Gift Shop and grabbing a drink or a bite in the famous Shire’s Rest Cafe.
Then your middle earth Journey starts by hopping on The Hobbiton Bus that takes you to The Hobbit Village where your guide will do a two-hour guided tour through The Hobbit Holes, The Mill, The Double Arched Bridge and have a complimentary drink at The Green Dragon Inn.
Be prepared to take lots of photos and videos in this unique place.
After you finish your amazing Hobbit tour we make our way through the scenic roads of Waikato back to Auckland CBD.
Pick-up Time: Between 6:00 to 6:45 am The exact Pickup time will be confirmed prior to the tour.
