Arrive at Bayfield City Dock in the evening for a night in the Bayfield harbor aboard the boat. Set sail in the morning for a tour of the interior of the Islands. On this trip, you can really get the feel of the boat with as much sailing instruction as you want. Learn sailing, seamanship, boat handling, navigation and anchoring.
Multiple day trips offer the opportunity to overnight in the islands. Your captain will determine the safest place to moor or dock. You will need to prepare for meals by bringing meals for your group and the Captain.
Each day of sailing will offer beautiful shorelines, a variety of sea caves, views of lighthouses and more. Our Captains will provide great natural history and area history.
On the final day sail back to Bayfield Harbor by 3pm for a shower and dinner in Bayfield.
Lake Superior conditions can shift quickly; bring layered clothing to stay comfortable on deck and during onshore hikes.
Keep cameras and phones dry while exploring sea caves or kayaking around islands.
Boat decks and rocky shorelines can be slippery; sturdy, grippy shoes improve safety and comfort.
Maintain a safe distance from seals and birds to avoid disturbance and ensure natural behavior.
