The day will start off when you arrive at the farm, there will be an introduction and tea/coffee to break the ice and everyone can introduce themselves. The first part of the tour will be a short talk on the farm and see what we are doing here, from being as self sufficient as we can through to the animals we keep, how we farm for nature and all about the bees we keep and honey we produce. We will have a walk of the farm, seeing the veg garden, orchard and paddocks where the livestock are kept. We are producing all our own food here in the farm from fruit & veg, to eggs, beef, pork and preserves and ferments. There will be a tour of the honey house, see all the equipment from the beehive equipment right through to the processing room where the honey is taken from the frames and into the jars. We will visit the hives and talk through the beekeeping year and all the works thats involved in keeping honeybees. The workshop will finish with a questions and answer session where guests will get to try a range of different honeys that I produce here on the farm.
