With music enhancing the atmosphere, this adventure promises unforgettable memories and local insights to continue your exploration.
Welcome to join Stockholm's Best Bike Tour as we pedal through the hidden (and not-so-hidden) gems of our Capital, floating on 14 islands. After years of experience we have developed the ultimate Bike Tour for you, where we cover all Stockholm Highlights in a few hours time. You will feel well informed about "the Venice of the North" afterwards and ready to continue exploring Stockholm!
Your local Guide tells you about Stockholm's past and present, as we enjoy the breathtaking water surroundings. By showing you pictures at every stop, the stories come more to life. We mix active biking with plenty of stops along the way, making time for pictures and questions. A small speaker playing music from Sweden (old classics & modern hits) from your guide's bike at the front is included, to make your time even more memorable. Naturally our tour is also not complete without a mini "Fika" (Swedish sweet snack).
We take 1-2 longer breaks (excl. the stops along the way): 1x Rosendal Garden 1x Östermalm Food Hall from 1888 (on Sundays we just stop outside, as it is closed on Sundays).
After the tour, you will receive a WhatsApp message to the telephone number in your booking with your guide's local recommendations in town - don't miss it! This tour can be booked in: English, German, Spanish, Swedish.
For large groups and/or if you can not find a suitable day/time: Contact Stockholm Summer Tours and we will work it out! If you are also looking for a historic tour, we recommend our Walking Tour in the Old Tour where we dig deeper in the historic Stockholm and one of Europe's best preserved medieval Old Towns.
The Bike Tour involves cycling of varied speed in outdoor conditions (hills), so a moderate level of fitness is a must. We are not doing a Tour de France but it is an efficient 20+ km tour on non-electric bikes. If your guide prior to start notices this requirement is not being met, he/she does have the right to deny access to join the Bike Tour. Same right applies if the age (14+) requirement is not respected.
Please arrive 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE START TIME to adjust your seat and to get to know your bike (back pedal brake). If you are late or can not make it, we expect to hear from you before starting time so the group does not wait for you.
INSTRUCTIONS: We meet at Odenplan. Subway station Odenplan (exit Odenplan, green line). Google "Odenplans cykelgarage" (Odenplan bike garage). Your guide will wear a visible vest and stand in the middle of Odenplan with the bikes, having the white Gustav Vasa Church in the background.Google "Odenplans cykelgarage" (Odenplan bike garage).
