If you are truly looking to spend quality time and enjoy a unique and memorable moment with your group, then, our Private St Andrews Beach Ride may be the best option for you.

You’ll be riding only with the people in your group booking, no matter how large or small and led by our experienced and passionate adult tour guides.

This adventure starts from our stables, and as you all navigate through the native coastal bushland with stretches of walking and trotting.

As you approach the high sand dunes you will then be truly mesmerised as you take in the expansive wide panoramic ocean view.

You’ll slowly make your way down to the waters edge and walk (only) on the beach and be able to watch the ocean waves and feel the wonders of the great outdoors.

There truly is no better way to explore the area than on horseback.

We have horses for all abilities and sizes of rider, just let us know your Riding Level and we guarantee that we’ll have a horse to make you feel safe, and have the time of your life.

What to Wear

Please ensure all riders are wearing long pants and fully enclosed shoes acceptable for riding a horse. Any rider arriving in unsuitable shoes will be provided with an option from our small selection – however all sizes not guaranteed.

Gunnamatta Trail Rides advises you bring a jacket with you in case of rain, as rides will continue regardless of weather – except in extreme storm conditions where you will be contacted to reschedule the booking.

Other important information

Due to safety reasons, all customers must be able to understand and speak basic levels of English in order to follow important instructions during the tour.
