Explore Sarasota’s vibrant art scene on this citywide Art Crawl Trolley Tour with guide & watercolor artist Jerome Chesley. Visit Pineapple & Lemon, 5 Points & Main, North Palm Avenue, South Palm Avenue, Burns Court, Towles Court, and the Limelight District. Hop off to explore the galleries and studios or stay onboard to learn about Sarasota’s thriving Public Art collection. Trolleys pick up every 15-30 minutes at each location.

Departure/Return Location

1826 4th Street in Sarasota (behind The Breakfast House off Fruitville) Leaves the Trolley Cottage from 5 PM - 8 PM; guests may also hop-on/hop-off at any of the locations.

Arriving

Please arrive at the Trolley Cottage after 5 PM, to check in, visit our gift shop and enjoy complimentary beer/wine at the Trolley Tiki Bar while you wait to board.

Parking

FREE on-site parking is available!

Things to Note

  • This tour stops at (6) six downtown and neighborhood art gallery hubs. Hop off to visit galleries, then hop back on the trolley to enjoy a Public Art tour in between stops.
  • Two trolleys will be running in rotation every 15 minutes from 5 PM – 8 PM and stop at (6) six hub stop locations where you’ll find several galleries and studios to visit! The trolleys will arrive every 15 minutes to each hub stop from 5 PM – 9 PM. If you are unable to catch one of the trolleys before 9 PM, you are welcome to take an Uber or walk back to the Trolley Cottage.
  • No coolers or personal alcohol are allowed on our tours. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the trolleys.
  • Visit the Trolley Cottage Gift Shop, offering unique Sarasota merchandise while waiting to board.
  • We also offer group tours of 20 or more for any regular tour—or let us create a custom tour for your group!

Arrive Early for Check-In

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to check in smoothly at the Trolley Cottage.

Bring Comfortable Walking Shoes

You’ll be hopping on and off the trolley with short walks between galleries, so wear supportive footwear.

Bring a Valid ID for Alcohol

Guests 21+ receive a complimentary beer or wine before boarding; bring your ID to enjoy this perk.

While there’s no onboard guide commentary, staff at stops can assist; using maps or apps helps you navigate independently.
