Known not only as the center of San Francisco’s historic and culturally rich Italian Community, but also as a mecca for poets, painters, musicians, master crafters, dreamers and free spirits. It’s my great pleasure to introduce you to local friends and neighbors who are also the proprietors of shops, restaurants, galleries, and working art studios, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary tastes and samples, meet the artists, share stories, perhaps acquire a memento from one of our talented artisans or even make some art of your own.

My hope is that when you return home you will take with you a genuine understanding and appreciation of North Beach; a beautiful memory to treasure and share with family and friends and finally, you will look forward to returning to San Francisco with a sense of homecoming.

General Information

• The tour begins promptly, so please arrive at least 10 minutes ahead if possible. If you are late you may call to catch up but no guarantees.
• Let me know upon arrival if you have any food allergies.
• The tour is not scripted and will be a comfortable size.
• Gratuities are appreciated as they are not included in the cost of the tour but are not expected.
• Due to the issue of people not showing up that had a reservation and were going to pay cash, I can longer accept reservations with cash. If you wish to pay cash you can always call or email the day of the tour to see if there is drop-in space available and if so you can show up prior to the tour and pay cash at that time. But spots the day of are not always guaranteed.
• Cancellations or rescheduling changes must be made 24 hours ahead of the tour for a full refund.
• Parking can be a challenge, so if you can’t find a space there are two public parking garages at 735 Valleio St and across the street and 766 Vallejo st (between Stockton and Powell St)
