Prestwick Aviation Tours specializes in guided walking tours that explore the history and continuing role of Prestwick Airfield. The guided experience includes access to notable on-site locations, a knowledgeable narrator, complimentary teas, and a souvenir brochure that reinforces key historical points.
Tours emphasize factual interpretation of civilian and military aviation activity at Prestwick Airfield across eight decades, using documented milestones and visible infrastructure to illustrate change over time. Visitors receive a structured route with contextual commentary that connects dates, aircraft types, and local aviation infrastructure to wider aviation history.
Prestwick Aviation Tours partners with local authorities and site custodians when required to ensure safe, permitted access to airfield areas and to align tour narratives with verifiable sources.
