Explore Portland Maine's rich history and unique architecture with our highly trained and enthusiastic guides on this walk in the West end, generally acknowledged as one of the most beautiful and well preserved Victorian neighborhoods in all of America.

Uncover must-see landmarks, local stories, and hidden gems on this unforgettable cultural experience. This tour comprises a 2.5 hour walk viewing grand mansions, squares, statues, parks, museums, and the beautiful residential areas along the Western Promenade, often with views of the New Hampshire White mountains in the distance.

History fans and architecture buffs will appreciate the focus on this walk on the bustling life in the 1800-1900's. Along this beautiful route, some highlights include:

The works of Portland's influential architect, John Calvin Stevens including his private residence.
