Explore the world’s largest outdoor art gallery and learn how to photograph murals like a pro. Whether you are a budding or amateur photographer, or experienced professional looking to add a new skill to your practice, you will love this new photography workshop and mural tour interactive experience.
The experience will begin with a 1-hour photography mini course with a professional photographer at UniquePhoto on 28 S 2nd Street in Olde City, where you will gain an understanding of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and how to best capture photos in the field. A 90 minute mural tour with a professionally-trained guide will follow the course where you can use your new skills, while gaining a behind-the-scenes look into the people and communities that inspired each Mural Arts Philadelphia project! A 30-minute window is allotted for travel as a group from the store to where the tour begins.
Interested but don’t have a camera? No problem! You can rent equipment from UniquePhoto at no additional cost and return it the next day.* You may also purchase printing services at an additional discounted rate.
This tour leaves from the UniquePhoto, 28 South 2nd Street Philadelphia, PA 19106, and ends in the Midtown Village area, so please plan accordingly.
