Carrbridge - The Old Packhorse Bridge, Blair Atholl Castle (April to October - seasonal), Pitlochry Village, and Blair Atholl Distillery

Leaving your Moray Speyside or Inverness accommodation, our journey to Perthshire starts with a stop at the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands: The Old Packhorse Bridge in the village of Carrbridge, located in the Cairngorms National Park. Heading south, we will visit the idyllic Blair Castle, located in the village of Blair Atholl. It is the ancestral home of the Clan Murray and it has been built and modified over the past 750 years. It is the home of the only remaining private army in Europe: The Atholl Highlanders They act as the personal bodyguard to the Duke of Atholl - Chief of the Clan Murray.

In the village of Pitlochry, we will find a selection of pubs and restaurants with local products to delight our love for local gastronomy.

To celebrate a great day out, a dram or two is waiting for you at the Blair Atholl Distillery, the spiritual home of Bell's Blend where a great distillery tour is available with one of their guides. Bell's Blend, is one of the most popular blended whiskies in the UK.

Please note that the tour is subject to availability. If there is no availability, we can still visit their bar for some whisky tasting - to be confirmed
