You will learn about the scholars, rebels, and martyrs, architecture, artists, patrons and, saints that made Oxford.

Oxford’s rich history, spanning over 1,000 years, is brought to life through a gripping and informative walk in the city centre.

You'll discover a college around every corner, with literary landmarks and film locations and inspirations along the way.

The iconic sites of Oxford are woven into your itinerary. and you can customise your tour by selecting a site from Oxford’s famous Colleges, libraries and/or museums. In a college you'll see where scholars live and study and discover sometimes quirky traditions. Other remarkable sites which can be included are the Sheldonian Theatre, Divinity School, or Bodelian Library.

Whether you choose to explore interiors, or enjoy the city’s rich history from its streets, we’ll help tailor the experience to your group's interests. Entry to sites is charged at cost.

The tour includes the Martyrs Memorial, the Anglo Saxon tower and a stroll into the heart of the university passing older colleges, the splendour of Radcliffe Square and the University centre including the Clarendon Building, 15th century Divinity School, the Old Schools Quad of the Bodleian Library and Sir Christopher Wren’s Sheldonian Theatre

In addition you'll discover medieval lanes, sites relating to CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien in Oxford an authentic and informative experience of Oxford's colleges.
