Kindly note that boats need to be returned by 17:00 (between April 12th and September 30th) and 15:00 (between October 1st to April 11th) on the last day of hire.
Boats are only hired to members of the public over 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to drive self drive motor boats. We reserve the right to ask for a security deposit from certain parties.
The Broads can be windy and damp; layered clothing and waterproofs will keep you comfortable.
Take advantage of the brief tuition to become confident steering before heading out.
The Broads have mud banks and low water spots; keep oars ready in case you need to push off.
Avoid disturbing nesting birds and other animals by maintaining a slow, quiet pace.
