Join artist Irmi Willcockson this spring for a unique Nature Journaling Workshop in Galveston. Learn to observe, sketch, and write about the coastal environment over four inspiring morning sessions.
Four Sessions • 9am to 11 am weekly • Ages 13 and up
Join Artist Boat for this unique creative experience as you learn from experienced Nature Journalist and Biologist, Irmi Willcockson. Each session will take place at a different location on the Coastal Heritage Preserve allowing you to observe and capture nature within the wilds of Galveston Island's West End. You will have the Preserve to yourselves as it is the only activity for guided education.
Nature Journaling deepens one’s connection to nature and to oneself. Explore this practice through four 2-hour guided sessions with instructor Irmi Willcockson. After an introduction to nature journaling, you will explore different tools and methods each week enjoying a different Artist Boat protected ecosystem weekly.
No prior art experience required.
All materials will be provided. Materials will included a sketchbook, watercolor painting tools, paint palette, and other that will become yours forever.
